I trained with the ‘big 4’ accountancy firm KPMG and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005. After qualifying I moved into industry for 7 years, most recently working at the medical research organisation Huntingdon Life Sciences where I was Group Financial Controller. In 2011 I applied for my practicing Certificate and set up my own accountancy practice Cooper Rylatt. I was appointed as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2015
I am always happy to speak to existing clients over the phone or set up a Teams meeting at any time throughout the year - in fact I encourage it! It allows me to offer timely advice before a decision has been made. If you prefer a face to face meeting, it can be arranged at a time that suits you. Home visits are offered at no extra cost within the Derby area. All my fees are agreed in advance and there are no hidden extras. Monthly payment plans are also available, so you can spread the cost over the year and ease any cash flow worries.
